What the Hell.. rain again?!

After the I guess most rainy summer ever, I must say nothing feels better than returning home, taking a long warm shower, and a glass of cocoa on the couch afterwards.

The world could fall apart without me noticing!

Sunday I ran "Esum Sø Rundt" which is 26,6km so my longest distance before Berlin Marathon. 3 weeks and 4 days till the day is here! "Esrum Sø Rundt" is a race in the nothern part of Sealand, around a lake, "Esrum lake" and the race itself is quite hilly, compared to other races in Denmark. Infact the biggest inclines are about 30 meters, but running 30 meters up and down, and up, and down, and up....
The worst part is in the garden of Fredensborg Castle, which means the last 3-4km of the race. Here there are hills, that will ensure that you not under any circumstances feel in good shape after passing them!

I guess I will aim to have a good race experience in Berlin, and not for a better time. I simply haven't practised enough to run for a better time!

So now more time to relax, more time to eat "Pasta con Ketchup" It's going to be cool!
(And If I'm lucky, it might even result in a PR)

Vamos a ver!

Why runners are so stupid..

Well.. OK.. I admit it, it doesn't seem clever to, like I do, run 5 times a week, a total of 50 km in 4½ hours... weekly! What the hell... maybe I should get a job?

If you're not in it, it's hard to understand why this is necessary, but I really would like to survive Berlin Marathon, which takes place 25th of Sep. And of course I have not been training like I should, so I hope my "running 5 times a week"-stunt will take me though. I know it isn't going to be the ethical most beautiful finish, but I'll be there...

Green stuff....

Well I guess it's not only because green is my favorite color... But green food really appeals to me..
like avocados, peas, cucumber, wasabi, spring onions.

And all of them would go really well in a roll of sushi right?!

Num num num!

Back on the track!

Well.. since we're getting closer to Berlin Marathon training is needed. To be honest I almost haven't been running  really since CPH marathon.
I've signed up for the local running-club "sparta" and have been running every second day, about 10 K the last 2 weeks.
...And today I tried going for a longer run.... but I totally died on the way. I ran 12½ km that's it.
Man... Marathon's getting closer, I'm hoping that I'll be able to run at least 20 K next weekend.
