After the I guess most rainy summer ever, I must say nothing feels better than returning home, taking a long warm shower, and a glass of cocoa on the couch afterwards.
The world could fall apart without me noticing!
Sunday I ran "Esum Sø Rundt" which is 26,6km so my longest distance before Berlin Marathon. 3 weeks and 4 days till the day is here! "Esrum Sø Rundt" is a race in the nothern part of Sealand, around a lake, "Esrum lake" and the race itself is quite hilly, compared to other races in Denmark. Infact the biggest inclines are about 30 meters, but running 30 meters up and down, and up, and down, and up....
The worst part is in the garden of Fredensborg Castle, which means the last 3-4km of the race. Here there are hills, that will ensure that you not under any circumstances feel in good shape after passing them!
I guess I will aim to have a good race experience in Berlin, and not for a better time. I simply haven't practised enough to run for a better time!
So now more time to relax, more time to eat "Pasta con Ketchup" It's going to be cool!
(And If I'm lucky, it might even result in a PR)
Vamos a ver!
